Elky Clark

Elky Clark (4 January 1898 – 22 September 1956) born in Bridgeton, Glasgow was a Scottish professional fly/bantamweight boxer of the 1920s who the Scottish Area bantamweight title, National Sporting Club (NSC) (subsequently known as the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC)) British flyweight title, inaugural British Empire flyweight title, and European Boxing Union (EBU) flyweight title, and was a challenger for the Scottish Area flyweight title against Willie Woods〔http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=41889&cat=boxer〕 (later a Canada flyweight title challenger), and The Ring World Flyweight title against Fidel LaBarba, his professional fighting weight varied from , i.e. flyweight to , i.e. bantamweight. Elky Clark retired immediately after his bout with Fidel LaBarba due of a severe eye injury that he sustained in the fight, he was a riveter by trade, and also played a dulcimer and accordion for a living.
